Within the format of a trilogy, Trilogy for Singular Bodies; Cut in/Fold out (2016), In [Brackets] (2017) No longer, Not yet (2018) she started exploring choreographic methods in relation to the bodily structure of the female subject. Elsewhere, Within Here, a solo for five bodies, is a development of these ideas planned for late 2019.

WHAT DOES THE SITE RESIDENCY ENABLE YOU TO DO?
It helps me to challenge and clarify choreographic methods and provides a context where I can further articulate my artistic practice.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT?
I have started to practice something that I call ‘movement clusters’ which are actions or initiations grouped together that produce a body. I am currently mapping out what this concept might form in terms of strategies and structures.
The residency aims to enable artistic and organizational development, through free access to office space and studio time as well as counselling. Please contact Anne-Sofie Ericsson for more information.
