WHAT DOES THE SITE RESIDENCY ENABLE YOU TO DO?
― I hope it will ground myself and my work for the year to come by allowing longer explorations. I wish it will be a collegial space where I can work on my own among others as well as sharing and taking part of the other artist’s practices. A context for continuity and persistence.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT?
― At the moment I’m starting out a new process, a new piece, that deepens my explorations of social dance and the socialness in dancing. My focus is on the phenomena of ‘play’ and ‘playing’ and of ‘danslekar’ (dancing games) — which, until quite recently, were not confined to children but practiced across ages. Alongside this, I am researching my own family history, tracing how embodied behaviors, gestures and ways of speaking have been passed and carried through generations.

I’m also dreaming of becoming a fluent tap dancer.

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO FURTHER DEVELOP DURING YOUR RESIDENCY AT SITE?
― I want to bring more structure and sustainability to my freelance practice, while having a good time. I want to develop my artistic methods and strengthen my skills to lead myself and others through the process of creating a production.
