WHAT DOES THE SITE RESIDENCY ENABLE YOU TO DO?
– As a freelancer, the residency quite practically offers me a place to go work, an office with colleagues, and hopefully many new and old encounters with artists in residency. I am also looking forward to curating a piece for the SITE/Specific festival and to learning more practical skills and ways to work, tips, and tricks for producers through the workshops and my colleagues as part of the residency.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT?
– Currently, I am in the process of developing further skills through studies while also striving to keep a foot between the door in my producer career through working with some artists on the side. As mentioned, I am continuing my education in archive studies at Uppsala University. I don’t want to reveal too much about future goals, but let’s just say these two will hopefully be intertwined at some point…
HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO FURTHER DEVELOP DURING YOUR RESIDENCY AT SITE?
– I am still a fairly new producer in the field and would like to learn to know more people, and skills and thus gain more confidence through my residency. I believe in learning from experience and through people and their stories. For me, the residency is thus a sort of training in the full experience itself. These skills will also be more than welcome for those unmentioned goals for the future.;)
