Open Call: Produktionsresidens för samtida cirkus hösten 2023
SITE erbjuder ett residens i Farsta, Stockholm, för en grupp eller konstellation av konstnärer som arbetar med samtida cirkus. Residenset kan sökas för ett specifikt projekt eller för konstnärligt utvecklingsarbete under hösten 2023.
Residenset innehåller:
- Arbetsplats i form av tid i SITE Blackbox och SITEs Stora Studio, totalt 3 veckor mellan vecka 48 – 50, 27 november – 17 december
- Publika aktiviteter utefter gruppens önskemål, 2-3 händelser.
- Produktionsmedel om 100 000 SEK att disponera för arvoden, reskostnader, boende m.m. enligt gruppens önskemål.
- Teknisk personal och support från SITE.
- Tillgång till kontor, mötesrum och rådgivning från SITE under residensperioden.
OBS: SITE Blackbox är 14 x 19 meter med 6 meter i takhöjd. Fullständig specifikation finns här.
Urval görs av SITEs Konstnärliga råd och prioriterar ansökningar som:
- Syftar till att utveckla samtida cirkus som konstform.
- Arbetar med discipliner som är möjliga att utföra i SITEs Blackbox. För frågor om vilka cirkusdiscipliner som är möjliga i SITEs Blackbox, kontakta bjorn@sitesweden.se
Så här söker du:
Beskriv vad ni vill arbeta med, vilka discipliner som ingår och vilka som ska medverka.
Texten får vara max två (2) A4 sidor.
Bifoga även cv för upphovspersonerna i gruppen.

Open Call: Production residency for contemporary circus autumn 2023
SITE offers a residency in Farsta, Stockholm, for a group or constellation of artists working within the field of contemporary circus. The residency can be applied for a specific project or for artistic development during the autumn of 2023.
SITE offers you:
- Workspace in SITE Blackbox and SITE’s big studio, a total of 3 weeks between Week 48 – 50, November 27 – December 17.
- Public activities planned according to the groups wishes, 2-3 events.
- Means of production of 100 000 SEK to dispose on artistic fees, travel costs, accommodation etc. according to the groups wishes.
- Technical staff and support from SITE.
- Access to office spaces, meeting rooms and guidance from SITE during the residency period.

Selection is done by SITE Artistic Advisory Group with a priority for artists who:
- Aims to develop contemporary circus as an art form.
- Works with disciplines which can be performed in SITE Blackbox. For questions about which circus disciplines are possible in SITE’s Blackbox, contact bjorn@sitesweden.se

Describe what you would like to work with, which disciplines are included and who will participate. The text may be maximum of two (2) A4 pages.
Please also attach a CV for each person in the group.
