SITE erbjuder ett produktionsresidens för dans i Farsta, Stockholm. Residenset vänder sig till en koreograf, organiserad grupp eller konstellation av scenkonstnärer som är redo att gå in i färdigställandet av en produktion för en större scen/blackbox.
Residenset innehåller:
⁃ 5 veckors studiotid på SITE varav 2-3 veckor i blackbox för slutrepetitioner och föreställningar.
⁃ Produktionsmedel om totalt 150 000 SEK att disponera för arvoden till medverkande/team.
⁃ Budget för eventuella resor, boende och traktamenten om 50 000 SEK.
⁃ Teknisk projektledning från SITE, föreställningstekniker, samt en mindre budget för hyra av teknik.
⁃ Tillgång till kontor, mötesrum och rådgivning från SITE under residensperioden.
⁃ Marknadsföring i SITEs nätverk samt budget för dokumentation om 20 000 SEK.
⁃ Budget i ovanstående punkter är ramar och planeras i detalj i samverkan med konstnärerna/gruppen.OBS:
Residenset ska ske under perioden vecka 8-13, 20 februari – 2 april, 2023 med avslutande föreställningar under vecka 12 eller 13. Exakta veckor planeras i samråd med gruppen/projektet, men den övergripande tidsramen är inte möjlig att ändra. SITE Blackbox är 14 x 19 meter med 6 meter i takhöjd. Urval görs av SITEs Konstnärliga råd och prioriterar ansökningar från konstnärer/grupper som:
– Har påbörjat arbetet med en produktion/arbetsprocess eller ett projekt tillsammans utifrån en tydligt formulerad idé och är redo att gå till publik premiär i slutet av residenset.
– Vill och har behov av att arbeta i blackbox/större format med teknik, ljus, ljud och scenografi.
– Vill skapa en föreställning som kan spela vidare och turnera till stora/mellanstora scener/blackbox efter residensets slut.
– Har eller haft någon form av medfinansiering till projektet/produktionen som ansökan avser.
Så här söker du!
Ansökan ska innehålla: projektbeskrivning om max 2 sidor, namn på samtliga medverkande och konstnärligt team, cv för upphovspersoner/idéägare, tidplan för projektet/produktionen samt en översiktlig budget för hur ni avser disponera produktionsmedlen.Vid behov kommer SITE att be om referenser till tidigare samarbetspartners eller arbetsprover.

Open Call: SITE Production residency for dance spring 2023
SITE offers a production residency for dance in Farsta, Stockholm. The residency is aimed at a choreographer, organized group or constellation of performing artists who are ready to move into the completion of a production for a larger stage/black box.
The residency offers you:
⁃ 5 weeks of studio time at SITE, of which 2-3 weeks in the black box for final rehearsals and performances.
⁃ Production funds of a total of SEK 150,000 to dispose of fees for participants/team.
⁃ Budget for possible travel, accommodation and per diems of SEK 50,000.
⁃ Technical project management from SITE, performance technician, and a smaller budget for renting technical equipment.
⁃ Access to offices, meeting rooms and advice from SITE during the residency period.
⁃ Marketing in SITE’s network and budget for documentation of SEK 20,000.
⁃ Budget in the points above are frameworks andwill be planned in detail in collaboration with the artists/group.
The residency must take place during the period week 8-13, February 20 – April 2, 2023 with performances during week 12 or 13. Exact weeks are planned in consultation with the group/project, but the overall time frame cannot be changed. SITE Blackbox is 14 x 19 meters with 6 meters in ceiling height. Selection is made by SITE Artistic Advisory Group and prioritizes applications from artists/groups who:
– Have started work on a production/work process or a project together based on a clearly formulated idea and are ready to host a public premiere by the end of the residency.
– Want and need to work in black box/larger format with technique, light, sound, scenography etc.
– Want to create a show that can play on and tour to large/medium-sized stages/black boxes after the residency ends.
– Have or have had any form of co-funding for the project/production to which the application relates.
How to apply!
The application must contain: a project description of a maximum of 2 pages, names of all participants and artistic team, CV for creators/idea authors, time plan for the project/production and an overview budget for how you intend to use the production funds. If necessary, SITE will ask for references to previous collaboration partners or work samples.
